Steve is going to be a pest. The other boxers all get their kick buttons assigned to hooks instead of jabs; Steve’s kicks have been turned into his various ducks and weaves. Alternating between Weave In and Weave Out gives him a high degree of high and mid invulnerability; enough even to dodge a point-blank Super from the likes of Ryu. And not only that, it’s as easy as pressing Light Kick and Medium Kick. When Steve players master their stance work, landing a hit on him is going to be a tough ordeal.

One weakness of Steve’s is his lack of a decent anti-air. His cr.HP is fairly slow coming out, and trades often, while the only real special option he has requires him to be in Flicker stance first. Attacking from the air will also help get a hit deep enough his to bypass his Weave invulnerability.
