At the moment, King looks to be the strongest of the grappler characters, oddly enough because of his striking attacks. If you can store a Charge Cancel, the Disgraceful Kick will cause opponents to crumple, opening them up to combos. Other seemingly bad normals also contain interesting properties in their own right; Shoulder Charge carries one hit of armor and makes a wall-bounce on a counter-hit, while the Moonsault Body Press is unblockable.
Jaguar Step is his go-to anti-fireball move, much like Steve, Julia or Lili. Dragon Screw is a counter-move, and must be timed to an opponent’s attack. The input for Konvict Kick to DDT must be made the instant the starting Konvict Kick lands. Running Jaguar Bomb is a ground-to-air throw, similar to SSF4 Abel’s Falling Sky.

| Get used to seeing this one a lot. Does ludicrous amounts of damage, and can relaunch an enemy up to four times; great for coming into or going out of a Switch Cancel. Hits high, letting smaller opponents duck it; this is when King players will want to mix in the Tomahawk command throw, which grabs out of crouches. | ||
