UFGT8: Results

UFGT8 marked a number of things we haven’t seen for a long time, or before in some cases; in addition to the world premiere of homegrown showstealer Divekick and sideshow Super Balrog Ball, the event also saw Character Auction tournaments and a Mystery Game Tournament.  Given the sheer number of events on show here, and that I’ve finally discovered how to use the damn See More button, check the results after the jump.

Mystery Game Tournament

Each match is played with a different game: games included Warpath: Jurassic Park, Saturday Night Slam Masters, Zoids Battle Legends, Samurai Showdown Sen (rounds must end with severed body part), Double Dragon, Virtua Fighter 2, Real Steel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tournament Fighters, with the final consisting of Marvel vs Capcom 2 with all-Thanos teams only.
